About the classes:
Classes open with a short talk on aspects of nervous system health e.g. neurotransmitters, hormones, vagus nerve, gut-brain connection, polyvagal theory etc and how yoga & breath can help change how we feel. Then we do some breathwork and movement.
- It is an inclusive, safe and accessible form of yoga.
- Everyone is welcome, and all levels and needs are accommodated.
- There is no need to have any experience of yoga, and you do not need to be flexible or fit.
Wear loose, comfy clothes, and if you like bring a cushion and blanket for relaxation. Mats are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Please note that you can't see the church from the road - it's hidden from view behind a small three story block of flats (Regency Court Flats). It is signposted.
Parking is available behind the flats, and the church is within walking distance from the Chorlton tram stop and is on several bus routes.
Time and start date:
Tuesdays @ 12.45 - 1.45pm. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle yourself.
Classes start on Tuesday 23 September.
Payment:
£5 per class, either booked online or at the start of class. All are welcome so if cost is a barrier, please let me know.
About me: I am a Kundalini Global yoga teacher and nutritional therapist specialising in addiction recovery and mental health.
This form of yoga has made a profound difference to my own addiction recovery and it continues to help me manage my tendencies towards an anxious mind and low mood.

ABOUT THE YOGA
The Kundalini Global method of yoga works with the stress system to help us feel less anxious and contracted. With this method of yoga, we quickly experience how movement and breath can change how we feel.
The practice supports our nervous system health - neurotransmitters and hormones, vagal tone, fascia and psoas muscle release and I explain a bit as we go along. It's unattached to any religious or spiritual practice and it's suitable for all body types and levels of fitness. However, please note classes are not suitable for pregnant women.
